The Power and Benefit of Laser Cutting
There are several reasons why laser cutting is generally considered to be better than plasma cutting:

Quality of Cut
Laser cuts are generally of a higher quality than plasma cuts. The edges of laser-cut parts are usually smoother and more precise, and there is minimal dross (material that is melted and vaporized during the cutting process) left on the edges of the part.
Safety
Laser cutting is generally safer than plasma cutting, as there are no high-temperature gases or electrically charged plasma arcs involved in the process.
Precision
Laser cutting is capable of producing very precise cuts with minimal edge distortion. This is because the laser beam can be focused to a very small spot size, which allows for high precision cutting. Plasma cutting, on the other hand, produces a wider kerf (the width of the cut) and is not as precise.
Material Versatility
Laser cutting is capable of cutting a wide range of materials, including metals, plastics, and woods. Plasma cutting, on the other hand, is mainly limited to cutting metals.

What is a laser?
A laser is a device that produces a beam of light that is highly concentrated and coherent. The word "laser" is an acronym that stands for "Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation."
Lasers work by emitting a beam of light that is made up of a single wavelength, or color, of light. This is in contrast to normal light sources, which emit a broad spectrum of wavelengths. The single-wavelength nature of lasers makes them highly directional and allows them to be focused to a very small spot, making them very useful for a wide range of applications.
And what can it do?
Lasers are used in a variety of fields, including medicine, manufacturing, and military technology. In medicine, lasers are used for a variety of purposes, including laser surgery, laser vision correction, and laser-induced fluorescence. In manufacturing, lasers are used for cutting, welding, and marking materials. In military technology, lasers are used as rangefinders and targeting systems.
Lasers come in a wide range of sizes and types, and they can be designed to produce different wavelengths of light. Some common types of lasers include gas lasers, solid-state lasers, and semiconductor lasers.
CNC Laser Cutting 101
A CNC laser table, also known as a laser cutter or laser engraver, is a machine that uses a laser to cut or engrave material. CNC stands for "Computer Numeric Control," which refers to the fact that the machine is controlled by a computer program that is used to specify the precise movements of the laser.
CNC laser tables are used in a variety of applications, including cutting and engraving wood, acrylic, fabric, and of course, metal. They are commonly used in the manufacturing, woodworking, and crafting industries, and are often used to produce precise cuts and engravings with a high level of accuracy and repeatability.
CNC laser tables typically consist of a bed or table on which the material to be cut or engraved is placed, a laser head that moves over the material to cut or engrave it, and a computer control system that guides the movement of the laser head. The laser head is usually equipped with a focusing lens that concentrates the laser beam onto a small spot, allowing it to cut or engrave the material with high precision. Our table is also equipped with a water cooling system to help with the cutting or engraving process.
